About the Aronoff Center for the Arts
Referred to as "The Aronoff" by locals, the Aronoff Center for the Arts hosts many theatrical events during the year. It was originally constructed in 1995 and has been the setting for 20 years of spectacular functions. Its three main buildings make the Aronoff a performance hall triple threat:
- Procter & Gamble Hall seats 2,700 and puts on major concerts.
- Jarson-Kaplan Theater hosts 437-person audiences for local theater, dance and music specials.
- Fifth Third Bank Theater has a seating space of 150 for intimate performances or meetings.
The second floor of Procter & Gamble Hall contains the Weston Art Gallery, which showcases colorful exhibits by up-and-coming local artists and is well worth a visit. Each of these spaces is available for private events for groups looking to book a public performance venue. Many prominent groups call the Aronoff home, including the Cincinnati Ballet, Contemporary Dance Theater, Cincinnati Playwrights Initiative and more! One visit to the Aronoff shows how much the city of Cincinnati values fine and dramatic arts. Take the time to attend an event during your upcoming trip!
